Bizcap Doubles Its Fast Business Loan Limit to $1 Million. It Still Doesn’t Ask for Property Security

The non-bank lender has lifted the cap from $500,000, citing demand from businesses and referral partners. For brokers placing SME deals, the change is in the ceiling, not the product.

Bizcap has doubled its Fast Business Loan limit from $500,000 to $1 million. In its media release of 27 October 2026, the lender says the product still doesn’t require property security, and that the new limit is available to eligible Australian businesses now. For a broker, the change is simple: a client who needed more than $500,000 was above this product’s ceiling, and up to $1 million they now sit under it, subject to Bizcap’s eligibility and assessment.

1. What changed

The Fast Business Loan limit has moved from $500,000 to $1 million. Bizcap says that gives Australian SMEs “greater access to fast, flexible funding without requiring property security”. The release says the product keeps a streamlined application and assessment process, with funding decisions based on each business’ individual circumstances.

Bizcap describes itself as a global non-bank business lender. It was founded in 2019 and operates in Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe and Canada. Its boilerplate says it offers approvals in as little as three hours, with same-day funding available, and that it has funded more than 100,000 SMEs, totalling $5 billion globally.

2. Why Bizcap says it moved

The lender says the higher limit responds to growing demand from businesses and referral partners for larger funding solutions. It says the change lets it support more established SMEs seeking working capital for expansion, equipment, stock, staffing and other time-sensitive business needs.

Tony Truong, Bizcap’s Chief Credit Officer, said the increase reflects growing demand for larger funding amounts without compromising on speed or accessibility.

“Businesses don’t suddenly become less time-sensitive because they need $750,000 rather than $250,000.” — Tony Truong, Chief Credit Officer, Bizcap

“We’re seeing established Australian businesses with significant funding requirements that still value speed, flexibility and a lender willing to understand the individual business,” Truong said. “Increasing our Fast Business Loan limit to $1 million means we can support more of those businesses without fundamentally changing what makes the product work for SMEs.”

Co-Founder and Co-CEO Zalman Blachman said the decision reflects the company’s commitment to evolving its products alongside the needs of SMEs and referral partners. “We’re seeing strong demand from businesses and our referral partners for larger, more flexible funding options. Raising this limit allows us to meet that demand while giving more Australian SMEs reliable access to the capital they need to grow,” Blachman said.

3. What it means on a broker’s desk

Both executives name referral partners as part of the demand behind the change. That’s the broker channel. This is what the release puts on your desk:

  • The ceiling has moved. Requests between $500,000 and $1 million were above this product’s limit before. Under the new limit, they’re within it, subject to Bizcap’s eligibility and assessment.
  • No property security is required. Bizcap says the Fast Business Loan provides funding without requiring property security. That hasn’t changed with the higher limit.
  • The use cases are named. Bizcap lists working capital for expansion, equipment, stock, staffing and other time-sensitive needs, for more established SMEs.
  • Assessment is case by case. Bizcap says funding decisions are based on each business’ individual circumstances, so the release doesn’t set a template for who qualifies at the higher amount.
Same product, higher ceiling

Truong’s framing is that the higher limit lets Bizcap support more businesses “without fundamentally changing what makes the product work for SMEs”. The release presents this as a higher limit on an existing product, not a new one.

4. The Line of Credit Ultra extension

The release also confirms a second change. Bizcap has extended its Line of Credit Ultra feature, giving eligible Australian businesses 0% interest for the first four weeks. The lender says the extension follows strong interest from advisers and referral partners, which it says reinforces demand for funding solutions that give SMEs greater control over their cash flow.

The announcement also follows Bizcap’s results at the 2026 WeMoney Business Awards. It received Outstanding Customer Service – Business Loans for the third consecutive year, alongside Best for Line of Credit. “These awards reflect the importance of delivering funding solutions that genuinely meet the needs of SMEs, backed by exceptional service,” Blachman said. “The increased Fast Business Loan limit builds on that commitment, allowing us to support more businesses with the speed, flexibility and service they expect from Bizcap.”

5. What the release leaves out

The release gives the new limit, the use cases and how it’s assessed. It doesn’t give pricing, terms, fees or eligibility criteria for loans at the higher limit, or for the Line of Credit Ultra offer. Those details sit with Bizcap. Check them with the lender before a client conversation, and record what you were told on the file.

Key takeaways
