About this resource

This is a working library of plain-English email templates covering every stage of the mortgage broking journey. They’re written to sound human, built to be dropped into any CRM with minimal editing, and grounded in the realities of the Australian broker channel.

  1. On placeholders: every template uses {{ merge_field }} style placeholders. Swap them for whatever your CRM uses ([First Name], %FirstName%, and so on).
  2. Two placeholder types: {{ blue }} tokens are auto-filled by your CRM. {{ broker_to_complete_… }} tokens in coral are where you write your own detail before sending.
  3. Automate or personalise: the “When to send” note on each template tells you which ones can fire automatically off a stage move, and which deserve a human touch.
  4. On voice: the tone is warm and direct without being chummy. Make it yours — but keep it human, and never over-formalise. Best Interest Duty still applies to what you promise in writing.
